Chatterbox

In the past few weeks, Matthew has been picking so many new words - English and Chinese.  He's always saying something now - the only time he's quiet is when he's sleeping or getting into trouble!  Last week when I picked him up from grandma and grandpa's house, he learned to say "Don-oh" as in McDonalds.  I told him it was Mc-Donalds so now he says "Meek-Don-oh". Today I told him I would take him to the library when I finished my work.  Ever since I told him that, I just kept hearing him say "Li-bee, moushe" which translates to library mouse.  There are some gerbils at the library that he loves to visit, but he calls the gerbil a mouse.  Close enough - they look the same to me!  Then after the Li-bee, we made a stop at Meijer to buy some milk, bread and some other stuff.  As I pushed the cart past some strawberries, I hear him say "Doe-bee" and he points to the strawberries.  This stage where he's starting to/learning talk is so much fun!  Just be careful what you say around him because he's sure to pick it up!
