The other day, I saw Matthew pull himself up to standing position! Good job little boy! He's now starting to cruise along our couch and if he has rolling activity center supporting him, he can "walk" in a straight line (see video in previous post). If you give him your two hands, he will hang on to them as support and walk to where he wants. Sometimes we'll put him in his walker just to let him "run" around the house (at least where there's no carpet). He LOVES that thing! He moves pretty quickly when he's in the walker and he's also learned how to push off the ground and make himself roll farther along. He can stand up on his own for a few seconds if he feels like it...and actually took his "first steps" recently. He can take two or three steps on his own, looking like he's drunk though. I think he will be walking by his 1st birthday!
