Double Digits!!

We have a 10 year old!  When did 10 years fly by?!

Height: 54.5" (49th percentile)

Weight: 68lbs 6oz (42nd percentile)

We threw him a party in celebration of entering double digits at an archery place and everyone loved it.  He had so much fun that he wants archery lessons once soccer season is over (as do a few of his other friends that were at the party - I'm sure their parents are thanking me for that...)

This is his first season playing on a soccer team (Team Fire) and he loves it.  I think it helps that he’s scored a couple of goals during the season.  He’s been improving throughout the season and it’s been fun watching him and his team play.  They even got to play some of his friends from school that are on a different team - this is how rivalry starts at a young age! 

I'm so proud of this little guy for who he is and the young man he's growing up to be.  He loves his sisters (through his actions of helping them when they need it, teaching them when they ask him to and really just putting up with them in general!), he's loyal to his friends, he doesn't mind trying new things to stretch his comfort zone, is able to hold conversation with adults, is persistent in his way and determined to accomplish the goals he sets.  I just can't believe how quickly he is growing up!
