This field trip happened back in October, but I just recently came across these pictures again so I'm posting them. Matthew's school's 3 and 4 year old preschool classes went to Westview apple orchard back in October of last year. Here is a picture of him and his classmates:
We had a good time despite the light drizzle. He hung out mostly with Gavin and Ava (the two kids standing to his right). They kind of played at the playground together, they sat with each other for donuts and juice, they visited the petting farm together, and they chased each other around while we were waiting to get on the tractors that took us out to the pumpkin patch.
It was a little muddy, but he finally found the pumpkin that he wanted to bring home with him. He said it was too heavy for him to hold, but I think it was because he didn't want to hold the bottom of the pumpkin because it was dirty. You can see that he had his teacher, Ms. Murphy, hold up his pumpkin for him in the picture.
This is just the first of the many field trips that I will get to go on with him! I hope it will always be where he wants me to be there with him!! =)
