I ran into Matthew's teacher during their school's fun run event today and she told me a funny story. They were talking about mothers and what they do since Mother's Day is coming up this weekend. Apparently Matthew raised his hand and told his class that his mom doesn't do anything 😳. Luckily Mrs. Flannery knew I recently had a baby so she said "oh really? Taking care of a baby isn't any work?" Then Matthew answered "oh yeah! Ok, never mind." Haha. I am going to just assume he said I don't do anything because he associates the "what does your mom do" question to a profession and I haven't physically gone into work at GM for the past 4 months...
Anyways, his school had a fun run today to raise some money for classrooms. They had to run for 30 minutes - Matthew thought he would be able to run that non-stop. I'm pretty sure he figured out how wrong he was after running only the first lap! They had fun though and had beautiful weather for the event.
